Sir Knight Edward A. Theurer, Jr., Past Grand Knight
It is our sad duty to report that Past Grand Sir Knight Edward Theurer,
81,
passed away early Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Ed was an
active member of our council and was a Past Knight of the year and a
Past State Knight of the Year in NC. Ed was also
instrumental in starting our Squires Circle, of which there are only
14 in the state.
Visitation will be at Davie Funeral Home,
Thursday, December 1, 2011, 6:30 -8:30PM. A color guard was
requested. The funeral mass will be Friday. December 2nd, at
10AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will be
at Salisbury National Cemetery Monday, Dec. 5th at 11AM. A VFW
honor guard will be present.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to
the Edward A. Theurer, Jr. educational fund that is being
established.
